Song story, "Before writing this song, the composer had been going through a log time of changes in her life. It seemed very hard to bear. She found herself with many "vain imaginations"--things that were not necessarily true, but that she had thought on so much that she thought they were true. The Lord brought a verse back to her that she had learned as a child, 2 Cor. 10:5. It helped change her focus. She then was able to acknowledge that these "changes" were from God and knew that He sent them for her good."
